The Rams are locking in their guy. Kyren Williams has signed a new deal to stay in L.A. — a 3-year extension worth $36 million.
Williams broke out last year and became the heart of the Rams’ offense. He put up 1,350 rushing yards and 15 total touchdowns in just 12 games. He runs hard, catches out of the backfield, blocks, does it all. When he’s healthy, he’s one of the best backs in the league — no question.
Now the Rams are rewarding him. This deal keeps him in LA through 2028 and makes him one of the top-paid running backs in the league.
A lot of teams don’t pay RBs anymore… but the Rams just showed how much they value Kyren. And he’s earned every bit of it.
Love to see it. RB1 locked in.
Mannings thoughts
I love Kyren sometimes but I love this deal more. He’s the 7th highest paid back in the league and that’s exactly where I would want it. Kyrens efficiency and fumble trouble should not let him be a top paid guy, but when you need him to have a solid day he can do that. Helps in many aspects and I love this deal for the Rams.
